Ministry Newsletter Lauched!

Welcome! I am very excited about sharing this new aspect of All Glory is His Writing Ministry with you. I have had several people asking how they can pray for the ministry, and I have been thinking about how to best accomplish that. I send regular email updates, as many of you know and have received them. Now, with this newsletter, I can accomplish that much easier. I have been in a whirlwind of amazement in how God works! As some of you know, I have just submitted my second book to Xlibris: Secure the Fort (And Remain Under God), A Military Mother's Message to America. The interior galleys are in, and after a few minor changes, will be ready to go to print! I expect the book's completion by June! A percentage of the proceeds from the STF series will go to Military Missions, a non-profit Christian organization that supports our troops in various ways. Volumes Two and Three of Secure the Fort are already in progress. I am seeking submissions by our Christian military moms about their journeys with their sons or daughters in service. I am also seeking submissions by military chaplains about their stories of faith in the field. Please email me at Lucy@allgloryishis.com if you have a submission to send! God just provided a great resource through the site owner of www.momsofmilitary.com, who oversees a prayer circle of military mothers nationwide. The group is based out of Yorba Linda, California. She is going to have them email me with their testimonies of miracles they have experienced with their children on the frontline!

Bridge the Gap (A refreshing Biblical approach to healing from past abuse) is near completion. This book will also include journaling pages after each piece. Pray for this book's ministry to our women seeking to overcome abusive experiences. Pray as I seek to offer this course to area rape crisis centers and shelters for women.

I have gradually been working on marketing both the Living Water devotional and All Glory Is His book of poetry. I'm finding out that several tea room gift shops are interested in them! I will be meeting with the owner of a locally owned Christian bookstore next week about carrying both of these books. Pray for God to open the doors He wants opened for these books, and for them to minister to the people He urges to read them.

I have two military oriented events coming up that need to be covered in prayer:
1. Female Veterans Health Benefits Fair will be Sat. April 21st ( I will be able to promote Secure the Fort there, as well as work with Military Missions.
2. "Talking With Heroes" with Bob Calvert will come to our area to do a live taping of his radio talk show. Military Missions is sponsoring this to take place in early June. I look forward to helping Beth coordinate this event and the support it will provide to our troops!

Hope from Heaven (When Earth Loses a Child) is still in progress! God gave me a wonderful gift this week! Through a chain of events, I met a precious mother who has lost two sons (one to illness, one to suicide). She is going to write her testimony for the book. What a powerful story this will provide for other families to draw from! **Remember, when this book comes out, all proceeds will go to sponsoring Make A Wish Foundation children! Pray for it to do well and help many children who battle long term illnesses...

Needless to say, I am a busy beaver at this point! I am still doing volunteer writing for www.AllAboutGOD.com and have some assignments due on the 21st about our native american indians.
